In the early hours of the start of the student union elections marathon for the current academic year at Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs and Chairman of the Higher Committee for Supervising Elections at the University, inspected the headquarters of the Electoral Committee for the elections of the Faculty of Girls Students’ Union to check on the smooth progress of work in accordance with the regulations and laws regulating the elections, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Amira Youssef, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Dr. Mai Helmy, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Mr. Ibrahim Saeed, Acting Director General, wrote the Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and a member of the Higher Committee for Supervising Elections at the University. Ghada Abdel Salam, Director of the Youth Welfare Department at the Faculty.
During a parental dialogue conducted by Prof. Dr. Abdul Fattah Saoud, a number of female students wishing to withdraw candidacy forms for the elections affirmed that the electoral race has no winner or loser, but rather participation in itself is the gain, pointing out that the democratic experience of university students has witnessed great maturity several years ago, reflecting the awareness of students and their awareness of their role in the work. He added that Ain Shams University is a serious university in all fields, which places a burden and responsibility on its student union.
Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud praised the great demand of female students to participate in this democratic experience with awareness, understanding, and love in serving the university community to be the nucleus of national community action upon their graduation.
The elections are conducted under the supervision of the Higher Committee for Elections at Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs and General Supervisor of Elections, and the membership of Prof. Dr. Walaa Anis, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Tamer Abdel Moneim Rady, professor at the Faculty of Commerce and the committee's liaison officer, and Mrs. Reham Al-Atifi, who is managing the work of the Assistant Secretary of the Education and Student Affairs Sector, and Mr. Ibrahim Saeed, Acting Director General of the Office of the Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Mr . Mohamed Abdel-Malik, Director General of Legal Affairs, and students, Mustafa Mahmoud Al-Sayed, fourth year, Faculty of Law, and student Hadeer Ismail Bakr, the third year, Faculty of Commerce.
