The launch of the student elections marathon at Ain Shams University for the current academic year

The student elections at Ain Shams University were launched according to the announced schedule for student union elections approved by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, and Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.

Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud made an inspection tour to the Faculties of Girls, Arts, Law and Sciences to follow up on the first steps of the student elections, where the door for candidacy was opened for students and the withdrawal and submission of forms, in the presence of the deans and agents of those faculties and Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, a member of the Supreme Elections Committee and Director General of the Vice President’s Office

Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud confirmed that Ain Shams University is keen to hold student elections in a framework of freedom, transparency and respect for university traditions among students, and to prepare a generation capable of effective participation in development projects and the transition to the new republic, and that the university stands at the same distance from all students, explaining that the elections is the first step in shaping the students' political personality and qualifying them to be future leaders to carry the banner of development and development in our beloved Egypt.

It is worth noting that the preliminary lists will be announced on Sunday, the 27th of the same month, and the election committees will receive the appeals on Monday, the 28th of November. In addition, on Tuesday, the 29th of November, the appeals will be examined, provided that the final lists will be announced on Wednesday, the 30th of November.

Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, had earlier issued a decision to form the Supreme Committee to supervise the elections of student unions at Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs and General Supervisor of Student Union Elections at the University, with the membership of Dr. Walaa Anis, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Tamer Rady, a professor at the Faculty of Business and the university's liaison officer, Mrs. Reham Ahmed Ol-Atifi, Acting as Assistant Secretary of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Ibrahim Saeed, Acting Director General of the Office of the Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Muhammad Abdel-Malik, Acting Director General of Legal Affairs, student Mustafa Mahmoud Al-Sayed, fourth year student at the Faculty of Law, and student Hadeer Ismail Bakr, third year student, Faculty of Business.
