The social and economic impact of climate change as a determinant of health... A research project for Ain Shams University students at the COP 27 Climate Conference

Under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, and in cooperation with the Youth As Researchers (YAR) initiative of UNESCO and with the World Health Organization (WHO), a group of Ain Shams University students presented a research project at the COP 27 Climate Conference entitled "The Social and Economic Impact of Climate Change as a Determining Factor Socio-economic impact of climate change as a determinant of health, under the supervision of Prof. Shahira Samir, Executive Director of the International Relations and Academic Cooperation Sector at the University, Prof. Dr. Naira Sami, Professor of Community Medicine at the College of Medicine, and Prof. Mohamed Mansour, a doctoral student in the Sociology Department of the College of Arts. Presentation and discussion of the research in the presence of Dr. Naima Al-Qaseer, representative of the World Health Organization in Egypt, and representatives of the UNESCO office in Cairo.
