Honoring the members of the faculty staff of the team that won first place in the category of medium projects for Cairo Governorate during the activities of the Council of the Faculty of Engineering

Prof. Dr. Omar Al-Husseini, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University, honored the members of the team that won first place in the category of medium projects for Cairo Governorate during the activities of the Faculty Council in its session held on November 14, 2022, and they were handed certificates of appreciation.

The project is to convert a passenger car powered by an internal combustion engine into an electric car and test it.

Project organizers, Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Abdel Aziz, Head of the Automotive Engineering Department, Dr. Walid Helmy Abdel Hamid Department of Electrical Engineering Prof. Asst. Ahmed Mohamed Abdel Qader Department of Automotive Engineering.

The objective of the project is to study the effect of converting an obsolete car powered by an internal combustion engine into an electric car according to local and international standards and testing it in different operating conditions. The project works to use clean energy and improve air quality in Cairo Governorate by preventing exhausts emitted from cars converted to work with electric power.
