The Institute of Graduate Studies and Agricultural Research in Arid Regions announces two vacancies

The Institute of Postgraduate Studies and Agricultural Research in Arid Regions at Ain Shams University announces the announcement of 2 teacher positions in accordance with the conditions stipulated in Law 49 of 1972 regarding the organization of universities and its amendments and the following conditions:

First: The position of a teacher specializing in protected agriculture:

- To have a bachelor's degree in a horticulture department from an Egyptian university or an equivalent degree from an Egyptian or foreign university.

- He holds a PhD in the field of protected agriculture of all kinds from an Egyptian or foreign university.

- The age of the applicant should not exceed 40 years when submitting the advertisement.

- To be fluent in English.

He should have experience in the following areas:

 Agriculture without soil by its various means.

 Adjusting the climate inside the greenhouse and the means of automatic control.

 The effect of inappropriate biotic factors on greenhouse productivity.

 Experience in teaching at universities.

 Proficiency in using modern teaching aids.

Second: Agricultural Engineering Teacher Position:

- To have a PhD in Agricultural Engineering and Biosystems from a recognized and accredited university.

- At least two years of post-doctoral experience in related fields.

- He is fluent in the English language.

- The age does not exceed 40 years when applying for the advertisement.

- Fluent in dealing with information systems, computers, and modern and smart agricultural engineering.

- He has an excellent teaching and research record.

- Has strong communication and effective interpersonal skills.

- Good behavior.

Applications are submitted centrally to the Department of Faculty Affairs at the university no later than fifteen days from the date of publication, along with the following documents:

- The original certificate of bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees.

- The original birth certificate.

- Attitude towards conscription for males.

- Criminal status.

- Certificate of experience in the same field - 6 personal photos.

- Teaching statement.

- Research statement (description of the current research agenda).

- Reference Letter - Three letters of reference, at least two of which must mention the candidate's educational and research capabilities.
