Students of the Faculty of Archeology visit several archaeological sites

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Hossam Tantawi, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Archeology and Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and under the supervision of Dr. Rawan Ahmed, Director of the Field and Practical Training Unit, the College of Archeology completed field training for second-level students of the Department of Excavations and Archeology for the academic year 2022/2023 by visiting the site of Arab Al-Hosn excavations in Matariya, on Thursday, 3/11 from ten in the morning until two in the afternoon, under the supervision of Dr. Iman Nabil, professor of the subject and in charge of training.

The Faculty of Archeology, Department of Museums and Archaeological Sites Management, completed field training for second-level students for the academic year 2022/2023, with a visit to Al-Moez Street in Historic Cairo. This came under the supervision of Dr. Rawan Ahmed, Director of the Field and Practical Training Unit, and Professor of the Subject and Training Dr. Samar Hamdoun

This was under the supervision of Dr. Rawan Ahmed, Director of the Field and Practical Training Unit, and Professor of the Subject and Training Dr. Samar Hamdoun, on Thursday, October 27.

The training period lasted approximately 4 hours, from 10 am to 2 pm.

The college completed field training for first-level students for the academic year 2022/2023 by visiting the Children’s Museum in Heliopolis under the supervision of Dr. Rawan Ahmed, Director of the Field and Practical Training Unit, and Professor of the Subject and Training Dr. Mohamed Ismail, and department coordinator d. Samar Hamdoun.

   
   

The second-level students of the Department of Excavations and Archeology also visited the Zaafaran Palace, on Sunday 23/10 from ten in the morning until two in the afternoon, under the supervision of Dr. Imad Al-Din Othman, professor of the subject and the training officer.

The second level students of the Department of Museums and Heritage Sites Management for the academic year 2022/2023 visited the sites of Tell Basta and San Al Hajar in Sharqia, on Thursday, 3/11 from ten in the morning until four in the afternoon, under the supervision of Dr. Samar Hamdoun, professor of the subject and in charge of training.
