The Middle East Research and Future Studies Center holds the first lectures for the educational course “The ABCs of Politics and Law” at the Faculty of Arts

The Middle East Research and Future Studies Center held the first educational course "The ABCs of Politics and Law" on Thursday, November 3, 2022, hosted by the prestigious Faculty of Arts.

Dr. Hatem Al-Abed, a faculty member at the Faculty of Law and Director of the Center gave a lecture. He began the lecture by defining the concept of law, and its division into two parts. Private law and public law, and constitutional law are at the head of public law, and their application is supervised by the Supreme Constitutional Court. Dr. Hatem Al-Abed also touched on the concept of legal and moral responsibility.

Following the end of the lecture, the discussion was opened to the attending students, where Dr. Hatem Al-Abed answered all their inquiries, with a promise to complete the lectures next Monday, November 7, in the conference hall of the Faculty of Arts from 10 am to 12 pm.
