As a continuation of the series of awareness lectures on the dangers of fire and how to confront it, and within the framework of Ain Shams University’s keenness to develop awareness among workers in the university cities sector and in the interest of the safety of its students in the face of any dangers, the second awareness lecture was held in the conference hall of the university city to introduce the dangers of fire and how to confront and control it and the types of firefighting automatic.

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, under the supervision of a. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Director General of the Office of the Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and the General Supervisor of the University Cities Sector, in the presence of Prof. Magda Hussein, director of the university city administration, female students.

The lecture, which was given by Lt. Col. Ahmed Abdel Hamid, Director of the Civil Defense Department, civil defense workers in the university cities sector, targeted female students and workers in the Department of Maintenance, Safety, Occupational Health, Resident Supervision, and Morning Supervision dealing with female students.

It is worth noting that this awareness lecture comes within a series of lectures of its kind, which are held for university dormitories and foreign branch workers. Intensive training courses in the field of occupational safety and civil defense will be held by specialists in this field.
