The Dean of the Faculty of Girls congratulates the female students for winning the first place in the Software for People with Special Needs (PWDS) track in the i-challange competition

Prof. Dr. Amira Youssef, Dean of the Faculty of Girls of Arts, Sciences and Education, and the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit at the Faculty extends her sincere congratulations and wishes for the permanent excellence of student Shaima Sayed Ahmed, student in the fourth level of the Physics and Chemistry program and her team care Givers Aden Ezzat - Salsabil Kamel - Suhaila Mohamed - Hajar Maher, The team won the first place in the software track for people with special needs (PWDS) in the i-challange competition, which was organized by the Innovation Center at Ain Shams University under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.

The team won first place for designing an application to help people with special needs, specifically children with Down syndrome from 10 to 20 years old, and the application aims to increase children's ability to learn, communicate with others and express their feelings better, through games in different ways than traditional methods and appropriate educational videos them, and the application is also characterized by the presence of a simplified test in the form of a game, after the completion of learning a certain thing in order to make sure that the information is proven to the child.

It also includes a special section for inspiring people who have achieved great success in various fields despite having Down Syndrome so that they can motivate children to be like them, the Down application also includes a special section for parents to increase their awareness of their child's condition and to follow up on their children and remind them of the appointment of medicines or sessions for their children. Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud honored the winning teams in the i-challenge competition with certificates of appreciation as well as financial prizes ranging from 5000 to 15,000 pounds.
