The launch of the annual conference of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Ain Shams University

The activities of the annual international conference of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Ain Shams University were launched in its twenty-fifth edition, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Osama Mansour, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board of Directors.

The conference, which runs on the twenty-sixth and twenty-seventh of October 2022, is chaired by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Ramy, Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Honorary President of the Conference Prof. Ayman Abu Al-Nour, Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Ain Shams University, and Vice President of the Conference, Prof. Dr. Amr Al-Husseini and Secretary General of the Conference, Prof. Dr. Hossam Hamida and Prof. Dr. Adel Shafik and conference coordinator. Walid Al-Bassiouni and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abbas and Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the Conference Prof. Dr. Radwa Mansour.

The annual international conference of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Ain Shams University is considered the largest medical event for the specialty of obstetrics and gynecology in the Middle East region.

Prof. Dr. Ahmed Ramy, head of the conference, said that the conference this year is characterized by the recruitment of a large number of physicians, with a number of more than thirty doctors and experts, in addition to a large number of workshops for subspecialties in various branches of obstetrics and gynecology under the supervision of distinguished Egyptian and foreign experts in their field.

It also holds two workshops on endoscopy and dangerous pregnancy, with the participation of foreign doctors who are well known in these specialties.

He added that this year's conference is also characterized by a remarkable presence of companies during the conference, achieving an unprecedented number, and it is expected that the number of participants in the conference activities will reach 2500 doctors from all over the Arab Republic of Egypt.
