Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population, witnessed the activities of the Fourth International Conference of the Faculty of Dentistry at Ain Shams University, which is organized by the Faculty in cooperation with Misr International University, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Diaa, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Ramy Maher, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development and Secretary General of the Conference, Prof. Dr. Karim El-Batouty, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, a. Dr. Ashraf Abu Khalaf, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, Deans and Vice Deans of Faculties, Deans and Professors of Dental Faculties in Egyptian Universities.
Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population, confirmed the scientific importance of the conference, which is an important opportunity for exchanging experiences between professors and faculty staff at the academic and research levels, as well as the great scientific benefit for students, wishing more presentation to the faculty’s team and those in charge of the conference.
He also praised the efforts made by dentists in Egypt to establish this Faculty in 1996, pointing out that the Faculty has witnessed 25 years of success stories, and generations of dentists have graduated working in various countries of the world.
He stressed that the Faculty of Dentistry is one of the oldest and most important dental Faculties in Egypt, pointing to the importance of its scientific status, thanks to its strong scientific programs in various fields and disciplines.
In his speech, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Diaa, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, said that this conference coincides with the celebration of the silver jubilee of the Faculty, which was born giant with its leaders known for their efficiency and sincerity, which placed it in the ranks of advanced dental Faculties scientifically and research, adding that we have many experiences In successive generations, which gave the faculty continuity of renewal and renewal in various scientific activities.
He explained that the fourth Faculty conference comes in cooperation with Masad International University to set an example in cooperation with all civil society bodies within an institutional framework that ensures continuity of success and progress.
He pointed out that keeping pace with modernization in dentistry, which is accelerating, has become an inevitable necessity that requires great effort at all levels, and hence the role of the Faculty conference over its previous sessions in terms of bringing in many experts from all over the world.
Prof. Dr. Hossam Tawfik, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at Misr International University, explained that we seek to develop the scientific and cognitive capabilities of our graduates and prepare them in accordance with the needs of the labor market, which contributes to achieving sustainable development, in order to build a generation that is aware of the limits of its mission and is based on an awareness of knowledge assets as much as the value of science. Pointing out that holding the conference with the participation of the faculties of dentistry at Ain Shams University and the International University of Egypt proves the importance of education and this participation does not come from a vacuum, as the two Faculties occupy the top of the pyramid of education in the field of dentistry in Egypt.
An elite group of dentists from European, American and Arab countries, as well as deans and professors of dentistry from the Arab Republic of Egypt, will participate in the conference. An international exhibition will be held in which Egyptian and international companies in the field of dentistry participate.
