A seminar in the Faculty of Business as part of the university's celebrations of the glorious October victories.

The Faculty of Business organized a cultural symposium entitled "The October 22-Year Epic of Military, Political and Legal Battles", under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Ghada Farouk, Acting Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, in the presence of Prof. Khaled Qadri, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Mamdouh Abdel Alim, Director of Programs at the Faculty, and a group of faculty staff and students.

The seminar was attended by Major General Pilot Staff of War Dr. Hisham El-Halabi, advisor at Nasser Military Academy, member of the Board of Directors of the Middle East Research Center at Ain Shams University, member of the Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs and member of the Council of the Egyptian United Nations Association delivered a lecture.

Dr. Khaled Kadry, Dean of the Faculty of Business, said that the symposium comes within the framework of presenting an encouraging and honoring model for students in perseverance and patriotism, and as a kind of knowledge for university students about the national epic in the glorious October War, which will continue to bear witness to the valor and determination of the Egyptian army and its sacrifices in preserving the homeland.

         
   
         

Major General Hisham El-Halabi, an advisor at the Nasser Military Academy, said that the peace that was offered to Egypt before the 73 war included handing over the imperfect Sinai, which was not recognized by the Egyptian state. Western Military Science.

He explained that Egypt won in 73 with few capabilities, in addition to the fact that the Egyptian army was able to cross in 6 hours and continued: "We won and broke military sciences that were espoused by Israel and Western countries, and we were able to cross in 6 hours. A military flag that was considered at its time fell after the Egyptian army managed to prevent Israel from inflicting heavy losses and breaking an approved military theory.”

Dr. Hisham El-Halabi, an advisor at the Nasser Military Academy, explained: “Beginning on October 6, a committee was formed in Washington at the White House headed by the American president and with him the National Security Council of Israel.

He continued: "President Sadat found that he had been fighting America and Israel for 10 whole days, and the American goal was to destroy the Egyptian forces that crossed the canal, so that Egypt would negotiate without a strong position with Israel, and therefore Egypt's position would be weak during the negotiation, so Sadat understood this matter."

At the conclusion of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Khaled Qadri, Dean of the Faculty, gifted the faculty’s shield to Major General Pilot Staff of War, Dr. Hisham El-Halabi, a consultant at the Nasser Military Academy.
