Within the framework of Ain Shams University's celebrations of October victories under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President of Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Ghada Farouk, Acting Vice President for Community Service and Environment Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hossam Tantawi, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Archeology, and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Shouki, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research and supervisor of the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector, and under the supervision of Dr. Eman Nasir, Director of the Center for Papyrus Studies and Inscriptions. The Center initiated the activities of its cultural season for the academic year 2022-2023 with a lecture on the antiquities of North Sinai through the ages, during which Dr. Sayed Abdel Alim, a lecturer in the Department of Archeology, excavations, explained in a full explanation the efforts of excavation missions in more than one site, such as Tell Hawna, Al Farama, Tell Al-Tina and Tell Al-Luli.

He reviewed the stages of excavation in more than one site and the results of the research that resulted in the discovery of a number of castles dating back to different eras from the ancient Egyptian period to the Islamic era, where monuments and sites appeared, such as the Roman theater, Greek baths, remains of houses and finds of coins, pottery and gold ornaments.
