Ain Shams University students continue to celebrate the glorious October victories by painting a 20-meter mural

As part of Ain Shams University's celebrations of the 49th anniversary of the glorious October victories, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, visited a part of the activities of a series of celebrations for Ain Shams University students, where an exhibition of “roll up” paintings was held at the main entrance of the university campus, showing the glorious October victory epic, starting from zero hour on Saturday, October 6, 1973, the tenth From Ramadan at exactly two o'clock in the afternoon, passing through all the steps of the war until the raising of the Egyptian flag on the eastern bank and the achievement of the glorious victory

Also Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud praised the efforts and talents of the university’s roving students in drawing the mural of victory, which begins with a painting with a map of beloved Egypt, then a painting for the operations room during the October war, then the air strike, then destroying the Bar Lev line and opening a gap in the berm and crossing the Egyptian army boats, then a painting depicting the installation of bridges that It helps to cross the heavy equipment, tanks and heavy artillery of the eastern bank of the canal, then raise the Egyptian flag and achieve the October victory, then the paintings will move to the new republic and the "Peace Icon in Sharm El Sheikh".

It is noteworthy that the mural is 20 meters long, and more than 70 students from the Ain Shams University roving team participated in the drawing.

During his speech, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud indicated that the university’s celebration of the glorious October victories this year was special, as the university began the celebration with the participation of the Spirit of the East choir in the main paragraph of the celebration of the armed forces in front of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi in Al-Manara Hall, and then participated in the celebration of the Military Culture Authority and the College of Commanders and Staff With an exhibition of plastic arts, a “Coral On” party, and a presentation of the folk arts team, and the “Harmony Arabi” choir participated in the celebration of the Judges Club. .

The university also launched a cultural competition as part of the celebration of the anniversary of the October victories in the field of short story and poetry for the students of Ain Shams University, in commemoration and celebration of the 49th anniversary of the glorious October victories, pointing out that the events that took place this year were characterized by great excellence that reflected the awareness and appreciation of university youth for what their grandparents provided. Fathers sacrifices and heroisms that history will remember in letters of gold, and the festive events confirmed the loyalty, belonging and great love of university students to this great country.
