The New Academic Year’s Reception Festival at the Faculty of Girls

Prof. Dr. Amira Youssef, Dean of the Faculty of Girls, opened the second day of the reception festival for the university year with a welcome speech for the new students and attendance on the stage of the Faculty of Girls, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Amira Youssef, Dean of the Faculty of Girls, and Prof. Dr. Mai Helmy, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, started with the Republican Peace, followed by a fragrant recitation of the Holy Qur’an, and the Dean welcomed the students and guests, and Prof. Dr. Mai Helmy and Prof. Heba Barakat delivered welcoming speeches to the guests. and female students.

In conjunction with the orientation of the Presidency of the Arab Republic of Egypt to pay attention to climate change and its endeavor to hold a climate summit, the Education and Student Affairs Sector organized a festival to welcome students for the whole year with a new idea to be environmentally friendly, as it organized a symposium on climate change presented by Dr. Mostafa Fouda.

The ceremony was attended by a delegation from the National Council for Women, Prof. Dr. Rukaya Shalabi, the former dean of the Faculty, and a group of faculty staff, the teaching assistants and female students at the Faculty. The day’s activities were completed with a choir show, followed by a segment for the aikido team for self-defense education, and a segment for the roving team, and then segments for some talents in the faculty. The ceremony concluded with a commemorative photo of the Dean with the students of the Union and the heroes of the theatrical show.
