FAW Model at the Faculty of Agriculture

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Galal, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Hisham Hariri, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Form Supervisor at the Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Naglaa Obeid, and in the presence of all From the representatives of the FAO in Cairo and the faculty members, the Faculty of Agriculture at Ain Shams University organized the FAO Model under the title Agricultural Pioneers in the faculty’s Grand Conference Hall.

         
   
         

It also hosted FAO models at the level of Egyptian universities, namely [Cairo - Zagazig - Fayoum - Beni Suef - Assiut - Minya - New Valley - South Valley - Al-Azhar], on Wednesday, October 5, in the conference hall of the Faculty of Agriculture, Ain Shams University.

The conference included topics on (climate-smart agriculture), climate change, grants, donors, FAO's speech and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Galal, Dean of the Faculty, responsible for the FAO model, Ain Shams University.

Projects were presented to the students of the annual FAO Ject competition, which provide innovative solutions and modern technologies with the possibility of applying their results and benefiting from them in the field. The arbitration was conducted by FAO and my company and an arbitrator from Ain Shams University Prof. Dr. Ashraf Bakri, Head of the Genetics Department at Ain Shams University, and the winning projects were announced at the end of the day from the universities (South of the Valley - Cairo - Ain Shams), Azola - Greeno - Greenix - Hast. and 9 in addition to having previously received training under the supervision of FAO in Policy brief

The winning teams obtained a feasibility study from Mashroak, providing a full Internship to the first three teams within FAO for a full month during the year 2023.
