Prof. Dr. Ahmed Galal, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at Ain Shams University, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Walaa Abdel Ghani El-Sayed, Vice Dean of Graduate Studies and Research, conducted an inspection tour of the faculty to follow up the work progress at the beginning of the new academic year 2022/2023, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Education and Student Affairs.
Dr. Ahmed Galal clarified that all arrangements for the regularity of study and the educational process have been completed in the new academic year, which include the completion of maintenance work for buildings and facilities, the electricity system, sewage and fire, equipping the auditoriums, lecture halls, laboratories, libraries and medical clinics in the faculty, and following up on periodic hygiene inside the faculty campus. And setting up guiding signs, in addition to insurance and protection work at the start of the study, and the process of regulating the entry of individuals and cars to the faculty campus and checking on the camera system.
Dr. Jalal stressed the completion of the distribution of lectures, the announcement of schedules for all academic teams, the distribution of students to the departments and study divisions, the provision of all the quality elements required by the educational process, including teaching aids to start and regular studies from the first day, and the extraction of university cards.
He also emphasized the presence of faculty members and the supporting staff on the faculty campus from the first day of study, to ensure the successful regularity of the educational process.
He also stressed the readiness of the medical clinic to provide an outstanding medical service to students, and the dean of the faculty called on the deputies and professors to open their doors for students to identify their problems, find urgent solutions to them, and interact with them, explaining that the faculty pays great attention to student artistic, sports, cultural, itinerant activities and families.
