Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University and Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, Vice-President for Education and Student Affairs, the Faculty of Girls for Arts, Science and Education prepared to receive the new academic year by announcing the schedules for all academic teams and divisions, and preparing classrooms, research and laboratories, said Prof. Dr. Amira Youssef, Dean of the Faculty.
She added that the preparations also included the youth welfare sectors and its various committees and student affairs in the college to receive the female students and provide all means of care and support for them with ease.
The preparations also included emphasizing the safety and readiness of elevators and female students’ entry and exit gates. The faculty is also preparing to hold some meetings with new and old students, and organize some artistic, cultural, sports and roving activities, in addition to organizing a large symposium on the October victories and their heroes, the heroes of the Eilat operation and how to take advantage of the October spirit in building the new republic.
The symposium will be held on Tuesday, October 11, at 12 noon at the faculty under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ghada Farouk, acting vice president for community service and environmental development, and supervised by Prof. Heba Barakat, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environment Affairs, and the faculty deputies, Prof. Dr. Mai Helmy, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Hanan Al-Shaer, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, a number of professors and faculty staff, and a large number of students.
