The Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at Ain Shams University, the National Council for Women in Cairo, and a family for Central Egypt organized a visit to the new Children's Hospital to treat children suffering from blood diseases and tumors from various governorates of Egypt and also from some Arab and African countries, and dialysis, under Sponsorship of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Ghada Farouk, acting Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and the coordination and presence of Prof. Dr. Gehan Ragab, Professor of Marketing at the Faculty of Business and Advisor to the Vice President The University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Hala Suwaid, Vice Dean of the College of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Yasmine Jamal, Director of the New Children’s Hospital, Prof. Dr. Heba Hamza, Deputy Director of Children’s Hospital, and Medical Director of the Hospital, Dr. Shaima Maher, with the participation of a group of sector employees And under the supervision of Mr. Suhail Hamza, Assistant Secretary General of the University for the Sector.
Prof. Dr. Rukaya Shalaby, former Dean of the Faculty of Girls at Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Amani Hanafi, former Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, and members of the National Council for Women, Cairo branch, participated in the visit, and they supported the mothers of children and their children and gave them gifts and toys for children.
Dr. Gehan Ragab stated that this visit contributed to raising the morale of the children who frequent the hospital and alleviating their suffering. The hospital was inspected and advanced medical services were introduced. The attendees praised the high-quality medical care for pediatric patients, and provided them with full support until the stage of recovery The Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the university also provided some gifts and games for children, and gifts for mothers. The sector calls on all segments of society to support the Children's Hospital in Demerdash for continuing to provide its free services.
