The Faculty of Medicine welcomes new students from the class of 2022-2023

The Faculty of Medicine at Ain Shams University, with the participation of the College Students Union, organized a welcome party for new students in class 2022-2023 over 3 days, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Osama Mansour, acting Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Heba Allah Saeed, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Hala Suwaid, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

The ceremony began with a speech of Prof. Dr. Osama Mansour, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, during which he welcomed the new students and explained to them the importance of the doctor’s scientific research and the doctor’s interest in all scientific and cultural fields and how to communicate with the patient. Also Prof. Dr. Hebatullah Saeed, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, greeted the new students and gave them some advice on paying attention to study, paying attention to different cultural aspects and participating in student activities.

Prof. Dr. Hala Suwaid, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development for new students, gave them an explanation of how to develop and renovate the faculty for the stands and laboratories to provide an appropriate learning environment for all students to study and to preserve the faculty.

Prof. Dr. Dina Abbas, Professor in the Department of Community and Environmental Medicine and Industrial Medicine, gave a lecture on the ideal environment, climatic changes, the ecosystem, environmental pollution, and how to preserve the environment.

The ceremony was attended by a group of department heads and faculty members of the college.
