The Faculty of Arts organizes the student media competition

The activities of the "Student Media" competition, organized by the Youth Welfare Department at the Faculty of Arts at Ain Shams University and the Student Union of the Faculty, have been launched. The competition is held under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hanan Kamel, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and the supervision and organization of Mrs. Neamat Khalifa, Director of Youth Welfare Department, and coordinated by a. Ghada Ibrahim, a. Intisar Muhammad in the Cultural Committee, Habiba Nasser, President of the Students’ Union, Maryam Adel, her deputy, Roeya Ehab, Secretary of the Cultural Committee.

Prof. Dr. Hanan Kamel stated that the competition comes within the framework of the Faculty's keenness to make every effort to support the discovery of talented students in all fields. Announcing the result, 50 male and female students participated in the competition.

The total score for the evaluation included 100, divided into 5 basic criteria and items: (good appearance, language proficiency, emotional stability, use of body language, appearance and charisma), in order to choose the best broadcaster, reporter, and journalist.

The jury consisted of professors of media and journalism and the Radio and Television Division, including Dr. Rania Al-Khodari, Dr. Sheren Al-Eraqi, Dr. Samar Sadek.
