Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, inspected the headquarters of the Main Coordination Office at Ain Shams University; To check on the progress of coordination work, accompanied by Mr. El-Sayed Atta, Head of the Education Sector and Supervising the Coordination Office at the Ministry, and Dr. Adel Abdel Ghaffar, Media Adviser and Official Spokesperson for the Ministry, and Mr. Sayed Savory, Director General of Coordination of Equivalent Certificates and officials of the Coordination Office.
During the inspection tour, Ashour reassured the electronic system for coordination work, praising the efforts made by those in charge of the coordination office, and their interest in answering all questions of students and parents, working to overcome all obstacles that students may face, and carefully reviewing all papers received from them; In preparation for the completion of their enrollment in Egyptian colleges and institutes for the academic year 2022/2023.
The Minister praised the halls designated for managing the Coordination Office and the reception of students, and the amount of work done by the Coordination Office and its employees in providing all the necessary capabilities at all levels for the appropriate appearance of the Coordination Office, and in a manner that achieves the interest of workers and students who frequent it, stressing the ministry’s keenness to facilitate students And work to achieve the principle of justice, and meet all the wishes of students in accordance with the rules regulating this.
The Minister of Higher Education also met with a number of employees of the Coordination Office and citizens, and reviewed all the services provided to students, noting the importance of the role they play throughout the coordination period.
At the conclusion of the inspection tour, the Minister met with a number of students and parents who frequent the office, and followed up with them the implementation of their requests and answering their questions. The Minister stressed the need to follow the necessary precautionary measures to ensure the safety of students and parents, stressing the commitment of all those hesitant to the coordination office with the instructions of social distancing, and implement all necessary preventive measures.
It is worth noting that the Office for the Coordination of Admission to Universities and Institutes began its work this year on Monday, 25 July, by organizing aptitude tests for students for the new academic year 2022/2023, and computer labs were opened in government universities to assist students in the electronic coordination process from nine in the morning until three in the afternoon throughout The coordination period, to ensure the regularity of the procedures for entering students to their desires.
The ministry also launched, through the media center, an awareness campaign for high school students about the steps for applying to the electronic coordination website, which includes all illustrative forms, (a list of the most important questions and answers for electronic coordination - illustrative infograph - an explanatory video of the electronic coordination steps), with the aim of facilitating students and completing their submission with ease.
