The President of Ain Shams University receives a delegation from China to discuss the establishment of joint research projects in the field of building chemistry and energy

Within the framework of the Egyptian state's endeavor to advance research projects, support and encourage researchers, and is keen to establish research projects and support cooperation between Egypt and China, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Dr. Ghada Farouk, Acting Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ghada Bassiouni, Professor of Chemistry, Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University, received a delegation from China consisting of NG and GRUBER who work in Shijiazhuang ChangAn Yucai Building Materials Ltd in China, the first holds the position of Deputy Director of Research and Development R&D and the second is Deputy Director of global markets in the international market.

The attendees agreed that this meeting will be the beginning of joint projects of great importance in the field of building chemistry and energy, the first of which is to support the research laboratory of the joint project with Oxford University, which is managed by Prof. Dr. Ghada Bassiouni, Faculty of Engineering, and two master's students, Mr. Mohamed Barhouma and Ms. Manar Mustafa, and the cooperation will begin by supporting the lab with some standard equipment and allowing visits by university students to the Chinese company.
