A delegation from Ain Shams University visits the Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority

The Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority, headed by a. Dr. Sami Shaaban, Chairman of the Authority's Board of Directors, yesterday morning, Wednesday, August 31, 2022, a delegation from Ain Shams University headed by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and it includes Prof. Dr. Ghada Farouk, Acting Vice President of Ain Shams University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Nabil Al-Farmawi, Head of Physics Department, Faculty of Science, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadi, Director of the Sustainability Center at Ain Shams University, Dr. Amir Ezzat, a teacher in the Department of Chemistry, and Dr. Osama Ashraf is a lecturer in the Department of Physics, College of Education.

The meeting began with a word of welcome from a. Dr. The Chairman of the Authority, distinguished guests, followed by a quick presentation on the Authority by Dr. Abdel Fattah Suleiman, Head of the Center of Excellence, and Dr. Mustafa Darwish, Head of the Technical Support and Laboratories Department.

The meeting dealt with emphasizing the work of a framework regulating cooperation between the authority and the university in the coming period.

On the other part, A. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Saleh on the importance of integration between the various bodies of the state, including Ain Shams University and the Nuclear and Radiation Control Authority, for constructive participation in scientific research, training, capacity building, and providing the academic and student community of Ain Shams University with the advanced applied and laboratory expertise of the authority.
