The closing ceremony of the Knowledge Cup competition at Ain Shams University, amid widespread praise from the delegations of 23 participating universities

In an enthusiastic festive atmosphere, the closing ceremony of the summit meeting of the Egyptian University "Knowledge Cup" was held, organized by Ain Shams University under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tamer Rady, Advisor to the Vice President for Education and Student Affairs for Student Activities

The competition jury announced that Cairo University won first place, Zagazig University ranked second, Benha University ranked third, Ain Shams University ranked fourth, and Al-Azhar University ranked fifth. Menoufia University won the ideal team award, and all the delegations of participating universities were honored.

During the ceremony, which was warm and appreciated among all students, the ceremony witnessed wide praise from all participating delegations for the warm reception and good hospitality that all participants found during their stay in the university cities of Ain Shams University and the good organization, expressing their great happiness for the excellence of this summit, thanking the university administration and the Department of Youth Welfare The university is keen on providing all amenities during their stay, in addition to organizing an entertaining and educational tour to the "Museum of Civilization", and a distinguished tour of the Saffron Palace, the main headquarters of Ain Shams University, and introducing them to the history of the palace and the events witnessed by the palace and its holdings. Prof. Dr. Abdul-Fattah Saoud said that the main objective of organizing and hosting summit meetings for different university students is to create distinct opportunities in a competitive and friendly atmosphere for acquaintance and communication and to take advantage of the opportunity to coexist together throughout the competition period, which contributes to the exchange of experiences and visions and learning about the customs and traditions of each governorate and the most prominent thing it is famous for in All walks of life, pointing out that such competitions increase the awareness of young people and open up new horizons for knowledge and culture.

In a generous gesture, the Sinai University delegation presented a commemorative shield to Ain Shams University, expressing their happiness at participating in this summit meeting.

It is noteworthy that the “Knowledge Cup” meeting started on August 26th until the 30th of the same month. The delegations of 23 Egyptian public, private and private universities participated in it.
