Prof. Dr. Maged Abu El-enein Dean of the Faculty of Education received Laura Kansekas Debraiz, Finland's Ambassador in Egypt and her accompanying delegation. They are the Cultural and Information Counselor of the Embassy of Finland, Counselor of the Finnish Embassy and a Trainee at the Embassy of Finland in the presence of the Vice Dean for Community Service and Environment Development
The visit to discuss ways of cooperation between the Finnish universities and the Faculty of Education, Ain Shams University through HEI ICI program, which aims to create cooperation between institutions of higher education in Finland and various countries of the world in the framework of the promotion and development of education and scientific research.
Laura Kansekas explained that the program is very interested in the topics of education, innovation and climate change through the ICI initiative and the Finnish National Agency.
During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Magid Abu El-Enein reviewed the history of the Faculty of Education and the potential of the Faculty, its laboratories and its various sections and the various means of cooperation through them. The two sides also exchanged dialogue on common points of understanding and cooperation.
Prof. Dr. Magid Abu El-Enein accompanied Mrs. Laura Kansekas and the accompanying delegation in a tour that included the student library, the college theater and the botanical garden, which includes some historical and rare trees as well as the rest of the faculty members, the smart hall and other laboratories and facilities.
The two sides expressed their full readiness to cooperate in various aspects to support and develop the educational process for the benefit of both sides.
At the end of the meeting, Magid Abul El-Enein gave the shield of the Faculty to Laura Kansekas in appreciation of her.
