The Annual Conference of the Department of Physics 2022 at the Faculty of Education

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hazem Rashid, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Ain Shams University, the Department of Physics organized the department’s annual conference, which witnessed many events and honors. Prof. Dr. Karam Fathi Abdel Rahman, acting head of the department’s board, delivered a speech in which he welcomed the Dean of the faculty, the deputies, and the department’s efforts In supporting students, scientific research and community service, Prof. Dr. Alaa El-Din Abdel Halim, former head of the department’s council and vice dean for community service and environmental development, delivered a speech in which he shed light on the department’s achievements in sponsoring student activities and its integration with the applied knowledge side of students.

He pointed to the excellence in the international publishing statistics of the faculty members of the department, as well as the integration of community services and applied research in community service and environmental development. Abdel Nasser Rashad, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, gave a speech in which he emphasized the distinguished aspects of the department in the field of graduate studies.

Prof. Dr. Radwan Hammouda, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, pointed out the former integration in the Physics Department and its excellence in all fields, and Prof. Ashraf Bakheet, Dean of the Faculty of Education, October 6 University, and a member of the faculty at the department emphasized the outstanding cooperation of the faculty members in the department, which affects the quality of performance. In the educational process, a group of student paragraphs was presented, including the graduate’s speech in which graduate Ibrahim Salama and student Hadeer Fathi participated, a dialogue with the self and student Asmaa Muhammad Fathi, and unforgettable situations presented by student Fatima Al-Zahra Mustafa, in which she emphasized the great influence of teachers in the lives of their students and directing them. In addition to the academic role, the student Muhammad Mukhtar also recited a poem about success and its impact on student achievement.

The shows were also concluded with the student Hadeer Muhammad Muhammad, in which she expressed the importance of science, knowledge and determination in achieving ambition, self-affirmation and competition.

The Dean of the Faculty honored Prof. Dr. Radwan Hammouda, the former Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, for his great efforts during his tenure. His Excellency Prof. Dr. Alaa El-Din Abdel Halim Mohamed Farag, head of the previous department board, also honored Prof. Dr. Karam for his distinguished efforts. Fattah, the acting head of the department board, and the holders of the title of the best 2% of the world’s scientists according to the Stanford University classification from the members of the physics department were honored, and they are Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Mohamed El-Nahhas, Prof. Dr. Suzan Mohamed Salah El-Din and Prof. Dr. Alaa El-Din Abdel-Halim Mohamed Farag, also honored the recipient of the highest international publication rate, as well as the recipient of the highest international publication of his doctoral thesis.

He honored the faculty staff who have reached the age of retirement for their distinguished giving, and honored all the recipients of Ain Shams awards from the department, as well as those who received promotions during this year, as well as distinguished and pioneering work, as well as honoring the trainers accredited by the UNESCO Office and the Adult Education Center at the university.

His Excellency also honored the head of the research laboratory in the department, Prof. Dr. Helmy Taha Al-Shaer, and honoring the distinguished giving of Prof. Dr. Safaa Abdel-Fattah Shalaby, and he also honored the outstanding students from the department, as well as the distinguished workers and employees.

At the end of the conference, everyone thanked the department's efforts and the faculty's support for them in continuing excellence and working for the advancement of Ain Shams University.
