Prof. Abdel Nasser Snjab praises the performance of the e-portal project

The contract of President of the University for Higher Studies and Research, met on Sunday morning at Al-Zaafran Palace with IT project managers and IT department managers at the faculties of the university, in the presence of the Executive Director of IT projects. It included discussing the status of IT projects and reviewing the achievements of the project. The portal is headed by Prof. Dr. Rasha Ismail. Prof. Abdel Nasser stressed the need to connect the sites of the new colleges to the main site of the university, in addition to the need to create a site for each faculty members to receive a statement. He stressed the need to complete the archiving of all university e-mails on the electronic system by the team of digital library project for easy access.

Mr. Abdel Nasser Nasserjab praised the performance of the e-portal project, pointing to the need for further development and progress, especially in relation to the classification of the site compared to other sites of Egyptian and international universities.

For its part, Rasha Ismail the sites of new colleges that were delivered to colleges as a first stage. She pointed to the high level of classification of Ain Shams University compared to other universities during the last period, pointing to the development of many services in the university's main site, in addition to updating all data and information for all departments and sectors in University according to the vision and guidance of the Ministry of Higher Education.

He announced d. Mohamed Hassan, director of information technology projects at the university, for obtaining approvals to increase the speed of the Internet in the colleges during the coming period, stressing that work to increase the speeds will be during the coming period in coordination with the Supreme Council of Universities.

He also announced the agreement on the work of the Microsoft academic program for faculty members, and Cisco Academy for students, stressing that the programs will be available free of charge
