The Vice President of Education and Student Affairs witnesses the discussion of graduation projects for 2022 batch of the drug design program in pharmacy

Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs, witnessed the discussion of the graduation projects of 2022 batch students from the Drug Design Program at the University's Faculty of Pharmacy, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Amani Osama Kamel, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Abdel Nasser Sengab, the former Vice President of Ain Shams University and a professor at the faculty, the deputies of the faculty, heads of departments, and a group of faculty staff.

         
   
         

In his speech, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, said that those enrolled in the Faculty of Pharmacy at Ain Shams University were able to obtain a distinguished education at the hands of professors who have a high level of international publication, in addition to a large number of applied research that can be implemented, and some of them occupy a position on the Stanford list of the best 2% of the world's scientists, praising their constant and continuous giving.

He added that the Faculty of Pharmacy is distinguished by its students and professors, as it is a real scientific school, and he called on students to benefit from it, pointing to the role of the university in providing a graduate who benefits the country, in addition to teaching him how to learn and developing his ability to harvest knowledge to become a person capable of learning throughout his life, and at the end of his speech he emphasized Ain Shams University is gigantic with its students and professors.

         
   
         

In her speech, Prof. Dr. Amani Osama Kamel welcomed the attendance, expressing her happiness at today’s celebration of the graduation projects of the 2022 batch of the drug design program, stressing the importance of this day because it was not only a day to present the graduation project, which is one of the most important graduation requirements, but also gives the student skills such as communication with others and working on a team spirit And innovation, as it is very important for faculty members, as it makes us discover the students’ intellectual and creative talents, so we, as a college administration, are waiting for it every year.

         
   
         

Dr. Amani Osama said that graduation projects witness a remarkable development every year and evidence of this is the publication of more than one topic during the past year in an international scientific journal under the supervision of Dr. Nadia Hamdi, Dr. Sherihan and Dr. Mina, and in appreciation of the college, it rewarded the students for these publications, as the participants in the research published in A magazine with a Q1 rank has a prize of 10,000, a Q2 rank has a prize of 8000, a Q3 rated a prize of 6000, and a Q4 that has a prize of 5,000 pounds.

Prof. Dr. Amani added that two of the student projects this year received funding from the projects of the Academy of Scientific Research within the Bidayati project, stressing that this could not have happened without the presence of distinguished students, supervisors and doctors with a different vision.

At the conclusion of the celebration, Prof. Dr. Amani Osama honored Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, gifted His Excellency the faculty shield.

The third project received the Best Topic award.

The fifth project also won the Best PPT Presentation Award.

The fourth project received the Best Poster award.
