Medical examination for children of the Special Needs Care Center at the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies for Childhood

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Dr. Howayda Al-Gebali, Dean of the College of Graduate Studies for Childhood, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Kahki, Director of the Center for People with Special Needs, and Dr. Basem El-Tohamy, Director of the National Program for the Egyptian Special Olympics, and coordinated by Dr. Gehan Essa, Secretary of the Center, and Dr. Ayat Eid, clinical psychologist and medical examination coordinator, and Dr. Ahmed Sarhan, director of the health program at the Egyptian Special Olympics, and coordinating Mr. Marwan Ashraf, a member of the Egyptian Special Olympics, and with the participation of some of the administrators of the college and the center, the College of Graduate Studies for Childhood and the Care Center for People with Special Needs, in cooperation with Unify Egypt, organized a medical examination for the children of the Care Center with Special Needs. Special Olympics and free medical glasses in cooperation with Dar Al-Oyoun and the health program of the Egyptian Special Olympics. The examination also included a dental clinic on Monday and Tuesday 28-29/6/2022.

Various gifts were distributed, including toothbrushes, wrapped candy, juices and balloons.

A medical examination service was provided to about 160 children of determination.
