Honoring the Vice President of Ain Shams University for Community Service and Environmental Development from the Rotary Governor

The Rotary Club of Heliopolis Sporting honored Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Community Service and Environmental Development. The Governor of the Rotary Clubs, Eng. Yasser Nashaat, Governor of the Rotary Region 2451 Egypt, and Eng. Heba Al-Marsafawi, President of the Rotary Club of Heliopolis Sporting, honored him, and he was granted honorary membership.

         
   
         

Prof. Hisham thanked the club members for their efforts and support for Ain Shams University, which consisted of: a visit to the Children's Hospital in Demerdash and presenting gifts and donations to children, a visit to the Martyr Ahmed Shawky Hospital for elderly medicine and support, a visit to the Center for the Care of Children with Special Needs at the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Childhood Supporting the comprehensive development convoy for the city of Hahya in Sharkia Governorate, which was organized by the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector at the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Childhood, financial support for the Ramadan table.

Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz also stressed the keenness of Ain Shams University to contribute effectively to solving community problems under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, stressing the role of the community service and environmental development sector through many activities and events to provide many different services that can to work on the advancement and development of society.

         
   
         

He added that the university realizes the importance of community participation to help our families in all governorates of the republic and harnesses all its capabilities to provide various services to them, pointing to the university's keenness to participate positively in all presidential initiatives, including the "Dignified Life" initiative, and contribute to the advancement of health, social and environmental development for various groups of society. General and those who are unable in particular, through many measures, including the launch of comprehensive development convoys and specialized medical convoys.

He explained that the specialized medical convoys launched by the university come within the framework of completing the university’s role and responsibilities in serving the Egyptian community and the surrounding environment for the treatment of Egyptians, adding that the university recently launched several comprehensive and free convoys that succeeded in achieving its goals in several villages and cities in various governorates, during which it provided health and community services. And awareness-raising for thousands of simple and needy people.

Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz referred to the university’s role in initiatives that aim to achieve Egypt’s Vision 2030, including participation in the initiative for a decent life, pointing out that this initiative includes many disciplines in addition to the illiteracy eradication project, that the university participates strongly in the illiteracy eradication project and it was done through participation Literacy 34 thousand illiterate successful study.

         
   
         

Prof. Gehan Ragab, Professor of Marketing at the Faculty of Commerce and Advisor to the Vice President for Service Affairs, was honored, as was the Governor of the Rotary Clubs, and the President of the Heliopolis Sporting Rotary Club.

Prof. Dr. Gehan Ragab emphasized the continuation of cooperation with the Heliopolis Sporting Rotary Club, and that the new management of the Rotary expressed its desire to continue communicating with the university and supporting the activities of the community service and environmental development sector in the coming period.
