The participation of the Faculty of Education in a development convoy in Shebin El-Qanater, Qalyubia Governorate

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President for Environmental Affairs and Community Service, Prof. Dr. Hazem Rashid, Dean of the Faculty of Education, and Prof. Dr. Radwan Hammouda, Vice Dean for Environmental Affairs and Community Service, the National Literacy Project Support Unit at the Faculty under the management of Dr. Sohaib Tolba, in cooperation with the Community Services Unit under the management of Dr. Ahmed Refaat, implemented a comprehensive development convoy aimed at providing comprehensive development services to the people of Shebin Al-Qanater, Qalyubia Governorate.

The convoy included immediate literacy exams through cooperation with the General Authority for Literacy and Adult Education and in cooperation with the Adult Education Center at Ain Shams University under the direction of Dr. Islam Al-Saeed.

The Department of Philosophy and Sociology took an active part in the convoy, through Prof. Dr. Naglaa Al-Wardani, who presented a symposium on family problems and stress management.

The Department of Chemistry, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abbas, Head of Chemistry Department and Prof. Dr. Adel Emara, Department of Chemistry, and Dr. Fatima Sami Abdel Salam held a workshop on the manufacture of household detergents.
