Children of the People of Determination Center at Ain Shams University won the 100m athletics competition (running competitions) at the Egyptian Special Olympics

Under the auspices of Lieutenant-General Kamel Al-Wazir, Minister of Transport, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Howayda Al-Gebali, Dean of the Graduate School of Childhood Studies, Prof. Dr. Randa Kamal, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, held a competition for the Special Olympics for Children of Determination, in the presence and supervision of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Kahki, Director of the Center for Special Needs Care.

The competition was organized by Prof. Dr. Basem El Tohamy, National Director of the Egyptian Special Olympics, Prof. Amr Mohi, director of games and competitions, Dr. Tarek Al-Nagar, Director of Egyptian Special Olympics Initiatives, Dr. Ahmed Sarhan, Director of the Egyptian Special Olympics Health Program, Dr. Tarek Mohsen, Director of the Leadership Development Program at the Egyptian Special Olympics, and coordination of Specialist Ayat Eid, clinical psychologist and technical director of the Olympic competitions, where cooperation took place between the Egyptian Special Olympics and the Children of the Special Needs Care Center at the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Childhood at Ain Shams University in an athletics competition with 10 competitors of the center's children in the running competition, 3 children won.

Children of the People of Determination Center were crowned and honored with gold medals: Retag Talaat, Basant Atia, and Youssef Ashraf.

Mohamed Emad - Ahmed Attia got the fourth place, and the child Mohamed Ahmed Amro got the sixth place

Some children from the Center for People with Needs also participated with other institutions, including: Retag Gamal - Salwa Adel - Rodina Ayman, with the participation of the specialized social activities team, Marwa Bayoumi, head of the activities team and the media center, Mr. Ehab Al-Kurdi, Secretary of the Center Director, Mr. Magdy El Mahdi is responsible for photography and a member of the fun team.

The team distributed some sweets to the children, moral support through stickers, and a photographer interviewed the children to express their feelings.

At the end of the second day, some winners were selected through a lottery to participate in other competitions.
