The Faculty of Environmental Research receives professors from the University of Granada, Spain, as part of the activities of the World Environment Day celebration week

Within the framework of the fruitful cooperation between Ain Shams University and the University of Granada in Spain under the umbrella of Erasmus + + the European Union Educational Exchange Program, which aims to facilitate the movement of students and researchers across higher education institutions in the European Union, and within the activities of the week of celebration of World Environment Day, the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Environmental Research received a visit of professors from the Faculty of Economics, University of Granada - Spain, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Shahira Samir, Executive Director of the International Relations and Academic Cooperation Sector, Prof. Dr. Noha Donia, Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Environmental Research, coordinated by Dr. Noha Al-Rafei, Deputy Director of the Grants and Projects Department, Dr. Karim Soliman, Assistant Professor of Environmental Sciences and Sustainability.

In the presence of Prof. Dr. Mohsen Tawfik, former dean of the Faculty and professor of electrical systems, a. Dr. Reham Refaat, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Hala Awadallah, Vice Dean for Community and Environmental Affairs, Department Heads, Dr. Seham Abdel Hamid, Head of the Agricultural Sciences Department, Dr. Hanan Zeidan, Head of the Department of Educational Sciences and Environmental Media, Dr. Mohamed Kamel, Director of the Center for Environmental Consultation and Research, Dr. Hoda Helal, Director of the Green Transformation Unit, and Dr. Ahmed Maher, director of "B Green" project.

A presentation was made in English for the visiting professors about the faculty, in which Prof. Dr. Noha Samir Donia, Dean of the Faculty, reviewed the faculty's mission, its study programs, and its various departments, with a definition for each department.

Various means of cooperation between experts from the University of Granada and the faculty were also discussed through joint academic programs in the circular economy and a draft action plan on how to integrate the circular economy into the various sectors of the state.

Then Dr. Noha Al-Rafei gave a presentation on the agreements of the Erasmus Plus program and the importance of the program, which provides exchange opportunities for students and researchers between Ain Shams University and European universities.

At the conclusion of the reception, Prof. Dr. Noha Samir Donia gifted Prof. Dr. Valentin Moreno, Prof. Dr. Manuel de Rio the shields of the Faculty of Graduate Studies of Environmental Studies and Research.

The reception was attended by a group of experts and specialists from the Faculty with Spanish experts.
