Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs, conducted an inspection tour, in which he was accompanied by Dr. Mustafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, and Dr. Hanan Kamel, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.
His Excellency praised the Faculty administration's keenness to implement all necessary measures to ensure the smooth running of the examination process and to provide all means to achieve the greatest degree of sterilization and disinfection of the committees between examination periods.
It is noteworthy that the exams for the second semester will last for a month, with no holidays except on Fridays, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hanan Kamel, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.
As emphasized by Prof. Dr. Moustafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty, to provide all means to achieve the greatest degree of sterilization and purification of the committees between exam periods, stressing that all members of the examination process wear the mask and the readiness of the medical center, and making sure that the committees are ventilated as well as the control rooms, and he also stressed the Faculty’s keenness to announce the schedules before the start of the exams in an appropriate period.
As well as the necessity of the presence of the subject professor at the exam headquarters to answer all questions and inquiries related to the subject.
On her part, Prof. Dr. Hanan Kamel, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, said that 22,000 students are preparing to take the exams, and (98) committees have been allocated, and the capacity of each committee is about (100) students in the auditorium, and (40) students in the hall. 5) Periods per day, and the time of the committee is one hour, and each committee is separated by half an hour, during which the committees are sterilized and cleaned. Students are also allowed to enter as soon as they are in the Faculty to prevent crowding in front of the committees and on the roads.
It was also emphasized that students should be organized within the committees at half their absorptive capacities to achieve the principle of social distancing between students, as well as stressing the wearing of students and faculty staff of the medical masks and preventing the exchange of stationery, and the Faculty administration is keen to provide alcohol and disinfectants to counter the spread of the virus.
The Vice Dean of the Faculty confirmed that the exams are in the "Bubble Sheet" method, some of which are essays, and the correction is electronic.
It is worth noting that the Faculty of Arts has announced the acceptance of medical apologies in the two cases of suspected infection with the Corona virus, and the student can be tested in the summer semester while preserving estimastion.
