President of Ain Shams University inaugurates renovations and developments of Interdisciplinary Radiology Unit in Al-Badrashash Hospital

Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahab Ezzat, President of Ain Shams University, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Mutini, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of the University Hospitals, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Director of University Hospitals, Prof. Dr. Alia Abdullah Al-Faki, Head of Diagnostic Radiology Department, Dr. Sameh Abdel Wahab Director of Interventional Radiology Unit, Dr. Ahmed Kamal Al-Dari, Professor of Interventional Radiology opened a number of renovations and comprehensive developments in the Interventional Radiology Unit at Al-Demerdash University Hospital, which dates back to 1984.

The renovation, which cost about 25 million pounds, included the development of a number of high-quality medical devices, which are the best and the latest in this field, as well as the development of infection control and fire systems, as well as the establishment of an additional role including a lecture hall equipped with the latest technological systems and Internet access.

It is worth mentioning that the Interventional Radiology Unit serves more than 900 cases per month.
