The launch of the agricultural and veterinary extension convoy of the Faculty of Agriculture, with the participation of professors from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Affairs and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Galal, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, the agricultural and veterinary extension convoy of the Faculty of Agriculture was launched with the participation of professors from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. On the sidelines of the convoy, a meeting of the Technical Committee for Community Service and Environmental Development, headed by Prof. Dr. Nabil El-Madani, Vice Dean of the College, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Salah Al-Din Al-Safty, Director of the Agricultural Experiments and Research Center, and members of the committee, including professors of agriculture and professors of the College of Veterinary Medicine, where the meeting began at the headquarters of the farm administration in the lecture hall, then tours were followed by the members and field visits to classrooms, training and accommodation for students.

This was then followed by guided tours of the region, visits to agricultural lands, extension and guidance operations for farmers, answering their questions, providing them with the necessary advice, assessing the health status of animals for breeders, and providing guidance and treatment and counseling programmers.

In addition to visiting the poultry farm, rabbit farm, agricultural machinery and equipment workshops, visiting the basins planted with different crops, visiting the animal production farm, inspecting the health status of the flocks on the farm and providing the necessary guidance and treatment programs.
