The Faculty of Arts at Ain Shams University concluded the student activities of the Faculty Union for the academic year 2021 / 2022 by holding an exhibition of artworks for students, which included all handicrafts, recycling, drawing and photography that students designed throughout the year through various competitions, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Mustafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty, and the supervision of Prof. Dr.. Hanan Kamel, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, coordination of Neamat Khalifa, Director of Youth Welfare Department, and preparation of students for union committees, headed by Habiba Nasser, president of the union and her deputy, Maryam Adel.
The Vice Dean confirmed that despite the preoccupation with implementing measures to confront the spread of the Corona virus, the student activities plan was implemented in full and successfully in various fields through the council’s committees, which varied between cultural, scientific and artistic, the Mobile Committee, the Families Committee, and the Sports Committee, and she also commended the inclusion of students with special needs in various activities, which had a positive impact in raising their morale.
In addition, Prof. Dr. Hanan Kamel honored the Student Union Council and the first, second and third place holders in all competitions by gifting them certificates of appreciation in the presence of Prof. Dr. Amal Mabrouk, Head of the Department of Philosophy, Dr. Mohamed Samir Al-Khatib, assistant professor at the Department of Drama and Theater Criticism, and everyone was keen to take memorial photos.
