The basketball team of Ain Shams University students win the third place in the Martyr Al-Rifai competitions

The final match in the basketball competitions between Ain Shams University students and the Arab Academy team was held on the indoor halls of Ain Shams University, which resulted in the Ain Shams University student basketball team winning third place and the Arab Academy team fourth.

This was followed by the final match between the two basketball teams, students of Helwan University and Higher Education, which resulted in the higher education team winning the first place and the Helwan University team in second place.

The match was at the conclusion of the 49th Martyr Al-Rifai round, which was held under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, hosted by Ain Shams University under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.

The participation of Ain Shams University teams comes under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tamer Rady, Advisor to the Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Mr. Muhammad Al-Khatib, Assistant Secretary for Education and Student Affairs, and Mr. Muhammad Al-Sharkawi, Director General of the General Administration of Youth Welfare, and Mr. Mohamed Hassan, Director of Sports Activity Department, and Mr. Fatima Khalifa coaching the basketball team students Captain Ahmed Abdel Azim.
