The closing of the artistic festival of the Student Union of the Faculty of Arts

The Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams, concluded the activities of the Art Festival of the Students Union, which began its work last week, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hanan Kamel, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs and Coordination of Ms. Neamat Khalifa, Director of Youth Welfare Department.

The festival's activities and competitions varied between drawing, photography, graphic and acting.

Prof. Dr. Hanan Kamel presented a number of artistic works and representative sketches presented by the students, and stressed that the Faculty has real artistic talents that rise to the level of local, regional and international competition as well.

The jury met today to choose the first, second and third place in all competitions.

The jury consisted of Prof. Dr. Hanan Kamel, Vice Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Samir Al-Khatib, professor of drama and art criticism at the Faculty.

The festival was prepared by Mr. Mamdouh Abdel Maged, Head of the Artistic Committee, Hoda Abdel Hamid, Head of the Department, Habiba Nasser, Secretary of the Faculty Students' Union, Maryam Adel, her Deputy, Karim Ibrahim, Secretary of the Technical Committee, and Amani Mohsen, Assistant Secretary.
