Ain Shams University Board honors its scholars who won state awards

The Board of Ain Shams University honored in its meeting chaired by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Awad Tag El-Din, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Health and Preventive Affairs, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research and Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Ain Shams University professors who received state awards and incentives and awards for excellence in the field of scientific research.

Where Prof. Dr. Ayman Farid Abu Hadid, Emeritus Professor at the Institute of Graduate Studies and Research, Ain Shams University and former Minister of Agriculture, was honored for receiving the Pioneers Award in the field of agricultural sciences, and Prof. Diaa Abdel Maged Khalil, Emeritus Professor at the Faculty of Engineering, for receiving the State Appreciation Award in Engineering Sciences 2021.

Prof. Dr. Manal Hamdi Mahmoud Al-Sayed, Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, was also honored for receiving the State Appreciation Award in advanced technological sciences in the field of medical sciences, Prof. Dr. Rania Mohamed Hafiz Mohamed Hathout, professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy for receiving the Excellence Award in the field of technological sciences, and Dr. Hala Rashad Ahmed Mahmoud, the assistant professor at the Faculty of Science, who won the State Incentive Award in the field of chemical sciences, Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Mustafa Ibrahim, the teacher at the Faculty of Agriculture, who won the State Incentive Award in Science and Advanced Technological Sciences for the year 2021 in the field of agricultural sciences.

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, expressed his happiness at honoring the faculty members who received awards in the field of scientific research, and stressed the support of the university with all its organs to overcome all obstacles in front of researchers for the benefit of the Egyptian society in all aspects of life.

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Awad Tag El-Din, Advisor to the President of the Republic, includes professors, scientists and researchers at Ain Shams University, describing them as the jewel of the university, and recommended the need to preserve our researchers and scholars whom we are proud of and Egypt is proud of.
