In accelerated steps from the administration of the Faculty of Law, Ain Shams University towards the development and diversification of examination methods and systems, in a way that improves methods of measurement and evaluation for students in light of the direction of the Faculty administration towards strengthening governance and spreading the concepts of sustainable development among the members of the faculty, a pilot exam was held with the objective examination system (Babel Sheet ) for the Principles of Economics for first-year students in the English and French divisions, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Safi, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Al-Shafei, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and coordinated by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Dahoum, Director of the English Division, and Dr. Mina Adel, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at the Faculty.
Where the examination began at nine o’clock in the morning, in the auditorium and the auditorium of Prof. Dr. Fouad Al-Attar, under the supervision and control of a committee composed of a group of faculty staff, the teaching assistants and some members of the administrative staff.
Thus, for the first time, the Faculty has combined in its examination systems the traditional assessment system (the essay exam) and the modern assessment systems (the objective examination or Bubble Sheet).
Once the exam was completed, the answer sheets were electronically corrected in a precedent that is the first of its kind in the faculty in coordination between the Unit of Measurement and Evaluation and each of the English section control and the French section control.
