The President of Ain Shams University visits the National Research Center

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Mahmoud Hashem, President of the National Research Center, received Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Moneim Abu Zeid, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Science, and Prof. Hisham El-Ghazali, Director of Ain Shams Medical Research Center, Dr. Mahmoud Mahrous, Professor of Poultry Department at Faculty of Agriculture, and Dr. John Kamal, lecturer at the Faculty of Pharmacy.

         
   
         

The visit comes in response to the invitation of the head of the center to Dr. El-Metini to visit the center and get acquainted with its activities and capabilities and discuss ways of joint cooperation between the two sides.

         
   
         

The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Hussein Darwish, Vice President of the Center for Technical Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Moawad, Vice President of the Center for Research Projects and International Relations, Prof. Mahmoud Bahgat, supervisor of the Central Laboratories Network, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Ali, Head of the Center for Excellence in Virus Research and Prof. Dr. Osama Azmy, former Dean of the Institute of Medical Research and Clinical Studies.

         
   
         

Prof. Mamdouh Moawad, the Center's Vice President for Research Affairs, gave a video presentation in which he dealt with the general composition of the center's institutes and centers of excellence and their various research and scientific activities.

Then Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Bahgat, supervisor of the Central Laboratories Network, gave a lecture in which he addressed the general structure of the network and the services it provides to members of the Research Authority.

After that, the head of the center accompanied Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Matini and the delegation accompanying him to visit the network of central laboratories and centers of excellence.

The two sides expressed their desire to expand the scope of scientific and research cooperation by signing a scientific cooperation protocol to strengthen cooperation in the near future that includes all scientific and research aspects.
