A successful evacuation experience in the buildings of the Faculty of Specific Education

Today, the Faculty of Specific Education, Ain Shams University, conducted a successful evacuation experiment for all the faculty buildings, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Sayed, Dean of the Faculty, and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Amr Khalil, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, where the evacuation experience comes within the framework of the faculty’s periodic preparations to ensure the readiness of all the departments concerned with the faculty, including administrative security, civil defense, public affairs, and headquarters affairs to deal with any emergency that may arise during the educational process and the presence of students and staff in the faculty, in order to ensure from the administration of the faculty to the safety of students, faculty staff, the teaching assistants, administrators, and faculty employees.

         
   
         

It is worth noting that this experiment is the first of its kind in the history of the faculty to conduct an evacuation experiment for all five faculty buildings at the same time and in light of the construction and development work that the faculty is witnessing. Dr. Amr Khalil, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, said that a safe assembly point was made to test the evacuation in the middle of the faculty campus, and the evacuation was completed successfully in four minutes.

Prof. Dr. Amr Khalil, praised the efforts of Prof. Dr. Noha Saudi, director of the crisis management unit at the faculty and the work teams in the unit, as well as Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Al-Atifi, head of the quality unit at the faculty and the employees of the civil defense unit, also praised the cooperation of all the employees of the faculty in making the evacuation experience a success.

It is noteworthy that the evacuation experience was under the supervision of Brigadier General Hatem Saber, advisor to the president of the university for security affairs, and Mr. Mohamed Attia, Deputy Director General of University Security and Director of the Civil Defense Department and the implementation of the University's Civil Defense Department.
