The Women Support and Anti-Violence Unit at Ain Shams University celebrates International Women's Day

As usual, the Women Support and Anti-Violence Against Women Unit celebrates every year at Ain Shams University with female faculty staff, students and workers next March, as the month of women, through a number of events and celebrations, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Prof. Dr. Osama El-Sayed, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, and Prof. Dr. Hazem Rashid, Dean of the Faculty of Education.

Prof. Dr. Hend El-Helaly, Executive Director of the unit, said that the unit is about to celebrate International Women's Day next March 8, at the campus of the Faculty of Specific Education, and celebrates the Egyptian woman on her annual feast on March 16 at the Faculty of Arts, and the university's celebration of Mother's Day will be held on the stage of the Faculty of Education.

She added that this year is distinguished by the presence of a group of public figures, writers, artists, members of the Egyptian parliament, and the participation of civil society.

Dr. Hend El-Helaly pointed out that the events include awareness campaigns inside the university campus, and interactive introductory seminars, in addition to training workshops through consultants in the unit to develop the capabilities of female students, faculty members and workers at the university, in addition to a number of charitable exhibitions in various colleges of the university.
