Git/GitHub workshop to learn software development and version control requirements at the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, supervised by Prof. Dr. Nagwa Badr, Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences and Coordination of Dr. Yasmin Afifi, representative of the Alumni Association, the faculty held a Git/GitHub workshop, and the workshop was attended by the alumni of the faculty, Engineer Anas Abbas and Engineer Ramy Jamal, under the supervision of Dr. Hanan Hindi, a teacher in the Department of Computer Science at the faculty, on Saturday, corresponding to the 12th and13th of February 2022 at Gendi auditorium.

The focus was on developing software as a team and uploading files in a way that ensures the quality of the programs. The meeting lasted for five hours a day, from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm

Students registered as teams and 50 teams (about 150 students) from different teams and departments were trained.
