The conclusion of the activities of the workshop of the Iraqi author Qutaiba Al-Nuaimi at Ain Shams University, the first of its kind in the Arab region

Yesterday, the activities of the workshop "Partial Polyphonic Degrees for Arabic Maqam" were concluded, which is organized by the Department of Music Education at the Faculty of Specific Education, Ain Shams University, during which it hosted Professor and composer Dr. Qutaiba Al-Nuaimi (Iraqi/Belgian), a member of the Belgian Forum and International Relations Officer of the Hino International Festival in Belgium, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Osama El-Sayed, Dean of the Faculty, headed by Prof. Dr. Dalia Hussein Fahmy, Head of the Department of Music Education at the Faculty.

         
   
         

Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, praised the great efforts of the musician Qutaiba, in devising the partial degree system that will open the lost path for the whole world to understand and study our rich Arabic music and its multiple cultures, pointing out that the workshop organized by the Faculty of Specific Education at the university headed by Prof. Dr. Dalia Hussein Fahmy, Head of the Music Education Department at the Faculty of Specific Education, with the support of the Abu Dhabi Festival, is the first of its kind in the Arab region for the innovative system of modern musical sciences, after its presentation in Belgium and France, stressing the importance of joint cooperation in the cultural and artistic fields of music internationally.

Prof. Dr. Dalia Hussein Fahmy explained that this partial grading system is an additional tool for contemporary musical composition for modern music, as it is related to countless styles and references. from all over the world.

Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Graduate Studies and Research, met with Professor Qutaiba Al-Nuaimi, and he gave him the university shield.

The participants in the workshops were also honored, they are the Belgian soprano: Julie Kabbet, who was given the university medal, as well as the Iraqi oud player Muhammad Al-Attar, director of Bait Al Oud in Baghdad, was honored and given the university medal, and the Iraqi cellist Edwar Kazem Hassan was also honored, and violinist Dr. Marwa Amr, lecturer at violin Section
