iHub Center organizes an innovation competition at the Faculty of Science

In implementation of the university’s vision to motivate students to innovate and scientifically participate in activities and competitions, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (I Hub) at the Faculty of Science, Ain Shams University is organizing the Innovation Competition (Innovative solutions for a new republic), which was announced by the Center on January 31, 2022 Which deals with several topics that serve the ideas of global sustainable development, such as food health, clean water, clean energy, climate change and life on land and sea.

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ragaa Al-Sutuhi, Dean of the Faculty of Science, Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Eman Abdel Azim, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, coordinated and supervised by Dr. Islam Adly, teacher at the Department of Entomology and Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Faculty of Science, Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ragaa Al-Sutuhi and Dean of the Faculty stated.

He expressed his happiness that the center received during the application period from January 31 to February 15, 2022, thirty research teams with 30 applied research ideas and a total of 145 male and female students from the College of Science, which supports sustainable development goals and contributes to effective solutions to some societal problems.

The teams and ideas qualified for the next stage of the competition will be announced at a later time to complete the competition’s activities, wishing sincere greetings and good wishes to all the teams and students applying.
