Inauguration of the Research and Accessibility Center at the Network and Information Technology Center

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr. Islam Hegazy, Executive Director of the Network and Information Technology Center, announced the opening of the research and viewing hall at the center's headquarters.

Dr. Islam Hegazy explained that the hall includes a number of devices that are sufficient to provide students with access to the Internet, and are equipped with the programs that they may need if they want to use a computer, adding that a specialized team is helping to obtain any information or data they need.

Dr. Islam Hegazy indicated that the hall is also available to graduate students who wish to browse the Shams Theses system.

For his part, Mr. Al-Haytham Muhammad, Head of the Research and Information Department, said that the Research and Inspection Hall contains 17 devices available for use by students, faculty members and visitors from the university, 3 of which are for employees.

He added that all devices are equipped with the necessary programs to provide the needs of the browsers and facilitate their work, noting that the opening of the research and viewing hall and the availability of its services to all, will provide students with the ability to conduct their research within the university and obtain any information they desire by browsing the website.

The head of the Research and Information Department confirmed that a specialized team can assist students, graduate students, the supporting body and faculty members wishing to benefit from Shams Theses System.
