A workshop for engineers on the new servers in Ain Shams University data center

In the context of the continuous work of the Network and Information Technology Center to raise the efficiency of the engineers and staff working in the center, the engineers in the Center's Network and Infrastructure Unit attended a workshop on the mechanisms of using modern servers that were installed and used in the data center.

The workshop included the services that can be exploited by the engineers in the unit, which are provided by the new servers, as well as how to transfer data in new ways and steps that help them with the technologies and capabilities provided by the servers.

This comes under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, and Dr. Islam Hegazy, Director of the Network and Information Technology Center.

For his part, Dr. Islam Hegazy confirmed that this workshop comes within the strategic plan of the Center for Networks and Information Technology, which he developed to develop the center's units, and the workers in all its units.

He explained that the Infrastructure and Networks Unit is working to provide all sectors, departments and colleges of Ain Shams University with the Internet, and it is the main place in the university to retain data and technological information through servers that have been developed, updated and used during the last period, which provided many new features and services that the unit can provide.

He stressed that the unit has begun to gradually use the capabilities provided by the servers, while the workshops and courses that the engineers and employees in the unit undergo continue to keep pace with the latest technological and technical developments and make the highest use of them.
